Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation ICT

Hub for Digital Skills, Innovation, and Technology

The ICT Digital Center of the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation (SABMF) empowers young people and communities in Northern Nigeria with essential digital and technological skills. As part of the Foundation’s efforts in socio-economic development and education, the Centre serves as a hub for innovation, learning, and capacity building.

The Centre provides practical training in areas such as basic computer literacy, information and communication technology (ICT), and emerging digital skills. Through structured programmes, it equips youths, students, and professionals with the knowledge needed to function effectively in today’s technology-driven world, supporting the Foundation’s focus on education and human development.

It also supports initiatives such as Computer-Based Test (CBT) training for JAMB and SSCE, digital literacy programmes, and vocational ICT skills development. Through various collaborations, the Foundation has contributed to training young people in computer skills and related technologies, helping them become more self-reliant and productive.

Beyond training, the Centre promotes innovation, research, and awareness in areas like artificial intelligence, digital inclusion, and responsible technology use. It contributes to reducing the digital divide in Northern Nigeria by making technology more accessible and relevant to everyday life.

The ICT Digital Center continues to support the growth of a digitally skilled population, creating opportunities for economic development and long-term sustainability.
